The actual eruption on volcano Etna continues its eruptive phase, lava flows runs towards the west side of 2002 craters laying another layer over the old lava of 2002-2003 eruption. The lava came down at an altitude of 2300 meters above sea level, from an ephemeral vent opened at the base of the South-East crater at 3000 meters hight. The police, in order to prevent casualty, set a limit for visitors up to 2500 m, however it is possible to get over the limit but only followed by an expert guide.
